Interior refurbishment and sustainable renovation of a Cambridge house, providing a sense of calm, tranquillity and minimal living through natural interior finishes.
An architectural fit-out and refurbishment project that utilised a pared back design approach to create a contemporary yet comfortable family home. The project involved a deep retrofit, transforming the poorly performing existing house into a well insulated airtight fabric that incorporated an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) and Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR) unit. New triple-glazed windows improved u-values and maximised natural daylight, with solar photovoltaic (PV) panels helping to reduce electrical demand.
Working alongside a Passivhaus Designer, our Architectural and Interior Design services resulted in a modern home with high energy efficiency for our clients.
