The Inclume team have a combined 30+ years experience of working on heritage architecture in Cambridge. The team have worked on domestic houses, museums, colleges, ecclesiastical buildings, commercial properties and Scheduled Monuments within both the city centre and in the towns and villages of Cambridgeshire. Our expertise allows us to navigate the complex Planning and Listed Building Consent processes within the Greater Cambridge Shared Planning area. We have experience in dealing with local Conservation Officers, Historic England and other consultees that are often involved in applications with historic buildings.

Our knowledge of the Cambridge conservation areas, and expertise in Grade I, Grade II* and Grade II listed buildings, alongside our passion for preserving and adapting these special properties means we are well placed to assist with your project. We enjoy the challenge of bringing historic structures into the 21st century, through considered layout interventions, contemporary yet sensitive extensions or appropriate environmental improvements.

A member of our team has qualifications as a RIBA Conservation Architect and an Architect Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC). We are registered with both the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB), enabling us to support you as Architect and project facilitator throughout all RIBA work stages.

If you have a project involving a Listed Building or historic property, do get in touch with us via our online enquiry form, email or phone and one of our team will be happy to discuss how Inclume can assist.
