Power Exhibition RIBA, London

Light exhibition art the RIBA by Inclume Architects, Cambridge

An architectural installation for the RIBA Gallery in London.

A light installation that turns a literal interpretation of the word ‘power’ into an ethereal, interactive visual experience. The diffused pin-hole projections along the enclosed space evoke comparisons with the beauty of the night sky, creating an interesting contrast with the man-made, hard edged form of the physical piece. It provides a comment on the relationship between humans and the natural world; light pollution as a side effect of powering cities versus the inherent beauty of natural dark-sky locations.
